一场瘟疫改变了许多人

万万没想到，

一场瘟疫之后， 许多人变了。

医生变成了恩人；

护士变成了好人；

老板变成了坏人；

员工变成了穷人；

老师变成了圣人；

学生变成了铁人；

警察变成了敌人；

Oppa 变成了恋人；

恋人变成了他人；

家长变成了超人；

丈夫变成了客人；

太太变成了主人；

儿子变成了仆人；

女儿变成了红人；

夫妻变成了生人；

朋友变成了商人；

政客变成了艺人；

艺人变成了罪人；

男人变成了女人；

女人变成了男人；

帅哥变成了山顶洞人；

美女变成了烹饪达人；

外卖送餐员变成了爱人；

快递员变成了亲人；

每个人都变成了犯人。

但千古不变的是，

亲人始终是亲人；

家人始终是家人。

Dear Lewis,

Last night, daddy arranged a movie night for our family to watch <the Pilgrim Progress> at 7pm at home. The movie ended at 9pm. Lewis had so many questions to ask. Mama encouraged Lewis to ask questions so that mama knew what Lewis was thinking. We had a very good Q&A session together.

Mama told Lewis that you can’t go to the Celestial City just because mama has accepted Christ and you could use our relationship to go there also. Just like the Christian in the movie, his wife and sons refused to believe and chose to stay back at the Destruction City. Unless his wife and sons choose to believe and accept Christ themselves, they would not receive the Salvation. Mama asked, “Would Lewis like to accept Christ and do a prayer?”

Lewis said yes. This time Lewis was serious. Lewis already closed his eyes and put his hands together even before mama started the prayer. Mama led Lewis in prayer to ask for God's forgiveness and accept Christ as his own Saviour for the first time. Just like the lady in the white dress and the pastor in the movie who kept reminding Christian, Mama told Lewis that on our pilgrimage there would be people and all sorts of worldly distractions that would try hard to lead us astray from the right path.  We need to pray for God's help. 

9:30pm mama and Lewis brushed teeth together and went to bed. Lying on the bed Lewis continued to ask a few more questions until Lewis fall asleep around 9:50pm. Before sleep, Lewis said there were still questions he wanted to ask. You would have forgotten the questions you wanted to ask in the next morning. 

Mama was grateful and thankful that daddy arranged a movie night for our family to watch the movie <Pilgrim Progress>. Because of this, Lewis decided to accept Christ last night. 

Before sleep, Mama told Lewis that we will meet in heaven one day if anything happen to Lewis or mama, either one of us would have to leave this world first. Just like the Christian's friend, Faithful, who died at the Vanity Fair and later reunite with Christian again in the Celestial City,  will we meet each other again in Celestial City. 

Mama love you Lewis and God love you even deeper.

人民的眼睛该如何雪亮？

每当政坛上出现一些负面新闻，
政治人物都好喜欢用一句话：“我相信，人民的眼睛是雪亮的！”

人民的眼睛真得是雪亮的吗？

根据美国最新的“自由之家” 全球新闻自由排行，大马2012年的排名再度倒退两位，恢复2009年处境，在全世界196个国家当中排行跌至第143位，处于“不自由国家”。跟大马同样排行在第143位，同样获得64分的还有两个国家，即非州的安哥拉和马达加斯加。

人民的眼睛真的是雪亮的吗？

为何在大选前总是有许多的政治糖果？各项的补助，各项的承诺，总让人民眼花缭乱。

今年的《耶稣复活节》

今年的《耶稣复活节》，

不能在教堂庆祝，但我们有更多时间跟家人一起庆祝；

不能亲临教会听牧师讲道，但子女有机会听父母为他们讲解耶稣复活的意义；

不能在崇拜后收到教会所预备的复活蛋， 但子女可以在线上崇拜后收到父母所准备的复活蛋。

今年的《耶稣复活节》，

虽然跟以往的不同，

虽然有许多的限制，

虽然感觉很不习惯，

却为我们开启了更多不同的机会去庆祝， 去分享， 去体验。

复活节快乐！

《天路历程》与我

2005年夏天，

即将从台湾踏上归途回马的我， 收到了友人送的一本书《天路历程》。

虽然从小就听过这本书， 却从未真正读过。

其实这本书的页数不太多，却发人深思。

还记得一上飞机就开始阅读第一个字，直到飞机的轮胎碰到民都鲁机场时，我读到了最后一个字。 坐在靠窗位置的我， 被这本书的内容深深感动。

2012年9月，

在美里牧养的我， 大力推荐大专生务必阅读这本基督教经典小说， 还一口气订了100多本《天路历程》灵修导读本给他们。

2020年4月11日（马来西亚行动管制令第25天），

配合青年团契的安排， 我陪着妻小一起在线上观赏这部根据《天路历程》所制作的电影。

真不愧是被翻译超过200种语言的基督教经典小说！真的是老少咸宜！

观赏完毕，

内人带着儿子针对电影内容进行讨论。

我则上线带领青团的弟兄姐妹进行分享，彼此讨论心得。

我发现，

不论你当了基督徒多久，

不论你看了这部电影或小说多少次，

你总会从中得到新的亮光，新的提醒，新的反思。

这本在十七世纪英国监狱里由作者John Bunyan完成的小说，

把一个人从信主直到抵达天城的整个过程描述得淋漓尽致。

无论是人物的名字， 地名，环境， 剧情，台词，每一个细节都是精心设计过的。

只要你用心观赏/阅读，你会发现

电影/书中的某一个人物就是现在的你，

电影/书中的某一个场景就是你现在属灵生命最真实的写照，

电影/书中的某一句台词是神对你说的。

不晓得现在的你，已经踏上奔跑天路的旅程了吗？

不晓得现在的你，正处于属灵道路的哪一个阶段？

不晓得现在的你，有没有合适的属灵伙伴陪着你？

不晓得现在的你，是否已经迷失在花花世界了呢？

诚如电影中名为盼望的人物在终点前所说的：“君王从来没有让你失望，祂的应许是信实，我相信祂会带我进入天城的。再见！”
